Recent research is suggesting 5 Bq/kg or less for children is more realistic, but preferably none! if I knew tea had a total 134 Bg/kg of detected Cesium in it , I certainly would not be using it. In my opinion it is criminal to allow anyone, particularly children or pregnant mothers, to consume tea at this level of contamination!

The reason why I am concerned is that the radioactive isotope strontium 90 is a toxic carcinogen and it has been released in Japan’s Fukushima disaster.
