First, wear resistance

Contact fatigue strength
Bearing under the action of periodic load, the contact surface is prone to fatigue damage, that is, cracking and peeling, which is the main form of bearing damage. Therefore, in order to improve the service life of bearings, bearing steel must have high contact fatigue strength.
Three, hardness
Hardness is one of the important qualities of bearing quality, which has a direct impact on contact fatigue strength, wear resistance and elastic limit. The hardness of bearing steel in use state generally needs to reach HRC61~65, in order to make the bearing obtain higher contact fatigue strength and wear resistance.
Four, rust resistance
In order to prevent bearing parts and finished products from being corroded and rusted in the process of processing, storage and use, bearing steel is required to have good anti-rust performance.
Five, processing performance
Bearing parts in the production process, to go through many cold, hot processing procedures, in order to meet the requirements of large quantities, high efficiency, high quality, bearing steel should have good processing performance. For example, cold and hot forming performance, cutting performance, hardenability and so on.
