Completed NSK Toyama Heat Treatment plant

Fujisawa plant part of the heat treatment process to move to NSK Toyama

The Fujisawa factory, located in the Lake area of Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, has been engaged in the production of bearings since 1937, including the industrial machinery bearing turning, heat treatment, grinding, assembly and other full process production. In addition, SINCE its establishment in 1966, NSK Toyama has been engaged in wind power generation and steel bearing forging and turning.

This time, in order to avoid the risk of earthquakes and floods and ensure the production of large bearings, NSK will transfer part of the heat treatment at its Fujisawa plant to NSK Toyama. To this end, NSK Fushan built a new plant, mainly responsible for wind power bearing forging, turning and heat treatment. In this factory house, while using and expanding the existing forging and turning processing equipment, also carried on the optimization adjustment, the introduction of the latest heat treatment processing technology, improve the environmental protection and quality level. In addition, by optimizing and adjusting the existing forging and turning processing equipment, automatic handling is implemented to further improve the efficiency and safety of the plant.
